4月7日，据央视新闻客户端报道，经过吉尼斯世界纪录机构4月5日认定现年111岁的英国老人“约翰·艾尔弗雷德·廷尼斯伍德”为现在全球在世最长寿男性。①

这位老人廷尼斯伍德1912年8月26日出生于英格兰西北部港口城市利物浦，经历过两次世界大战。如今他居住在英国海边小镇的一家养老院里。

养老院的经理介绍说，廷尼斯伍德是个“神奇的人，有很多故事”，他喜欢看报纸、听广播，还喜欢足球。这位老人平时不吸烟，很少喝酒，逢周五会吃炸鱼薯条。他认为自己的长寿秘诀是“运气好”。

此外，这位长寿老人建议人们做事情要“适度”，“不管你是喝得太多还是吃得太多，或者是走路太多，最终都要受苦”。

适度，才是最好的长寿秘诀

在追求健康长寿的道路上，很多人总是不断地探索各种养生秘诀和长寿方法。然而，真正的长寿秘诀往往并不是那些昂贵的保健品或者神秘的养生秘方。适度，才是我们最好的长寿秘诀。

其实“凡事要适度”的养生智慧，古人很早就在《黄帝内经》中指出，“饮食有节、起居有常、劳作有序”。节饮食，慎起居，不妄作劳，则可强身延寿，安享天年。这也是很多长寿者的共同经验。

1. 饮食适度：吃八分饱更长寿

生活中，很多人都难抵美食的诱惑。当遇到美味可口的食物、自己爱吃的食物，往往都会一不小心吃多了。然而，即使再好吃的食物，也要讲究适度、适可而止，饭吃八分饱。

越来越多的研究证实：八分饱衰老慢、更健康，更长寿。2023年2月，美国哥伦比亚大学专家在《自然-衰老》杂志发表的一项研究发现：如果减少25%卡路里的摄入，可将健康成年人的衰老速度减缓2%-3%，这也意味着死亡风险降低10%-15%。②

2. 运动适度：过量运动不长寿

俗话说，“动在养生，静则养心”，二者不可偏，贵在一个“适度”二字。生活中确实有一些极度热爱运动的人，或狂热的运动爱好者，每天花很多时间运动，导致过量运动反而不长寿。

2021年《梅奥诊所学报》医学期刊上发表了一项关于运动与健康的研究发现：“运动和健康长寿”之间存在某种特殊的联系。每周锻炼2.6-4.5小时的人，死亡风险最低，比不运动人群降低约40%。每周锻炼10小时以上的人，与每周锻炼2.6-4.5小时的人比，死亡风险反而升高，幸福感也有降低。③

为什么过量运动反而不利于健康和长寿呢？研究人员解释说，长时间剧烈运动可能会让身体处于“过度紧张”的状态。长期如此，免疫系统功能便会下降，恢复能力减弱，从而增加疾病风险。

3. 睡眠适度：7-8小时最健康

睡眠是人的生理需要，睡得安然才能活得自在。因此睡眠一定要充足，一般情况以睡7-8小时为宜，醒来轻松为睡得好。但不宜多睡，有时睡得过久反而醒来很累、头昏脑胀。

2024年3月，清华大学研究人员在《科学报告》期刊上刊发了一篇关于睡眠的研究显示，7小时左右的睡眠最延寿，过长过短的睡眠时间都会促进身体生物学衰老④。《健康中国行动》中建议成年人每天睡觉的时间平均保持在7-8小时。

4. 胖瘦适度：微胖的人长寿

平时总听见关于“胖点好还是瘦点好”的争论，甚至有些老人觉得自己有点胖，总和体重较劲。无数事实证明，过胖、过瘦都不利于健康长寿。

2021年，医学期刊《流行病学年鉴》刊登的一项长达73年的研究显示：体重确实与死亡率存在一种特殊的关系。在考虑到性别、病史、生活习惯等多方面的差异发现：年轻时能够维持正常的体重，年老时体型微胖的人死亡率更低。⑤

换句话说：年轻时不要过胖和过瘦，保持健康体重。年长了适当微胖更有利于抵御疾病，所以年纪大的人如果是微胖，千万别再和体重较劲。

5. 悲喜适度：心胸大更长寿

在遇到大喜大悲的突发事情时，一定要防止乐极生悲、哀而不伤。很多长寿老人都有一个特点——心胸大、想得开。在遇到愁心事、悲痛事时，能够看得远，想得开，勇于面对，及时化解。

尤其是上了年纪的人，遇到再大的事情，也要尽可能沉得住气、情绪稳定。2020年4月《中国急救医学》期刊上刊登的一项研究《我国5516例尸解猝死病例流行特征分析》，通过研究分析5516例猝死者的尸体解剖特点，发现猝死诱因排在第一位的就是情绪激动，高达26%。⑥

情绪是健康的开关，当情绪出现大幅波动时，我们的血压、心率、内分泌激素等都会有大幅变化。生活中大悲大喜等过激的情绪，都应该尽力避免。
