国家林业和草原局与国家统计局近日联合发布的研究数据显示，我国林地林木资源持续增长，以第九次全国森林资源清查期末2018年为基准测算，全国林地林木资产总价值为25.05万亿元，较2013年增长17.66%。China's forest resources have steadily increased over the years, with the country's woodland and tree assets hitting 25.05 trillion yuan by 2018, the ninth national survey of forest resources shows. This represents a rise of 17.66% compared with the value in 2013, according to data jointly released by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration (NFGA) and the National Bureau of Statistics.

森林是陆地生态系统的主体。森林植被通过光合作用，可吸收固定大气中的二氧化碳，发挥巨大的碳汇功能，并具有碳汇量大、成本低、生态附加值高等特点。近年来，随着大规模造林和天然林保护修复，我国森林资源得到了有效的保护和发展，森林面积和蓄积均有较大幅度增长，森林碳汇量也大幅度增加。2018年，我国森林面积和森林蓄积分别比2005年增加4509万公顷和51.04亿立方米，比第八次森林资源清查期末2013年增加1266万公顷和22.79亿立方米，成为同期全球森林资源增长最多的国家，对应两个时期的森林碳储量分别增加了11.69亿吨和5.53亿吨。这对我国二氧化碳排放力争2030年前达到峰值、2060年前实现碳中和具有重要作用。
